Phenom is the second last natural son of Lou Heros. He is the only Heros son standing in Western Canada.
There are 11 sons of Heros that are registered with the CLRC as stallions.
10 of these have produced registered offspring at some time in their life.
Only 5 of them have owners that are current members of the CLRC.
5 of these stallions have produced a registered foal in the last 5 years. As of right now it looks like there are
only 5 stallions keeping this direct sire line going. 1 in the US, 3 in Quebec, and Phenom here in Alberta.
At 14.3 HH and 1200 lbs. Phenom is a stout, heavily boned, well
proportioned animal. Solid fading black in color and throws chestnut.
Not only beautiful and well bred, Phenom is also extremely trainable!
He was showing competatively in both Open and Breed shows his 1st
year under saddle. He competes in everything: Halter, Showmanship,
Western, English, Flat Classes, Speed Events, Jumping, Dressage,
& Driven Events. He is the most competitively versatile horse in the
breed. There is no comparison. A truely Versatile Little Iron Horse!
